This social skills program is intended for boys and girls, K-2nd grade, who are motivated to learn how to make and keep friends. Behavioral rehearsal, modeling, and perspective taking strategies will be utilized. Fun games and activities will be incorporated during every class.

 

Topics include:

• Listen and follow directions

• Be a good sport

• Greet friends 

• Ask friends to play

• Share and give turns to friends

• Join ongoing game play

• Ask for turns during play

• Transition to new play activities

• Cool down when upset during play 

• Ask for help and help a friend

• Be flexible and cooperative during play

• And many more!

Sessions are one hour in duration, one session per week.
